Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and pameet for using the app and service. By creating an account or using pameet, you agree to them.

This is a baseline document provided for transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel before you rely on it. Last updated: 2026.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using pameet ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

pameet provides online classroom tools, including live video classes, a shared whiteboard, screen sharing, in-class chat, and session recording, together with an admin panel for organizations. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • upload or share unlawful, harmful, or abusive content;
  • record, capture, or redistribute a session without the consent required by applicable law;
  • disrupt the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to other accounts.

5. Your content

You retain your rights to the content you create or share through the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, and display that content to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights needed to share it.

6. Recordings

A class host may record a session. You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any consent required by law in your jurisdiction before recording. Recordings are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above; your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.

12. Apple App Store

The following applies if you obtained the app from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and pameet only, and not with Apple.
  • Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims; those are our responsibility.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which pameet operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Specify the governing jurisdiction before final publication.)
